This Website is intended to provide you with the latest information on our proposals to develop a temporary showground on our Myerscough Estate for the Royal Lancashire Show.

We are currently preparing a planning application for the temporary showground and as part of this process, are keen to consult with interested parties and the local community. The planning application for a temporary showground forms part of a wider plan to redevelop a 220-acre site on our Myerscough Estate. This is due to be finalised this autumn, with wide scale public consultation planned for early 2008. A formal planning application will then be made in mid 2008.

Please note that the information on this site is currently only relevant to the temporary showground proposals. As we complete the current planning process, this site will be updated.
